We are happy to say that we are looking for an Executive/Personal Assistant join our team at Primacorp Ventures Inc.  

Position Title:            Executive/Personal Assistant
Location:                    Head Office - New Westminster, BC
Reports To:                Chairman & CEO
Salary Range:            $70,000 to $100,000 per year
 
JOB SUMMARY:
The Executive/Personal Assistant is responsible for providing various facets of personal and business support to the Company's Chairman, and at times to his family. The position manages a high-volume workload with tight deadlines, while operating in a landscape of changing priorities and ad-hoc requests.
The successful candidate will be flexible, adaptable, and a dedicated professional. The position exercises tact and discretion in maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information and needs to be proactive in anticipating and adapting to the needs of the Chairman.  This position calls for a person that is comfortable and happy to perform routine personal assistant (PA) tasks, such as picking up lunch or dry cleaning, as well as senior level executive assistant (EA) tasks.
 
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Executive/Personal Assistant may be responsible for any and all of the following:
  • Schedule & travel management
  • Administrative support & general administrative duties
  • Internal communication, including liaising with other departments and executive leaders
  • Office management, such as ordering sundries and supplies
  • Household management – liaising with, and directing, workers at the Chairman’s various personal residences
  • Escorting the Chairman - safely escorting the Chairman to and from various appointments each day, which may involve driving or brisk walks
  • Meal catering - preparation and coordination of lunches and meals for the Chairman, including catering for guests on occasion
  • Event planning, both internal and external
  • Event attendance - attending high-profile events alongside the Chairman, ensuring smooth coordination
  • Special projects and many other/miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Chairman.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in the Executive/Personal Assistant position, individuals must be committed to developing, maintaining and demonstrating the following:
Education and Experience:
  • A Diploma in Business or a related field, with a degree being a strong asset.
  • Minimum of 5 years related EA or administrative assistance experience, with some experience at a senior level.
  • Experience in the following industries is a strong asset: Real Estate, Property Management/Leasing, Luxury Hospitality, or Education
  • Experience with PA duties is strongly preferred
Skills and Abilities:
  • Personal knowledge and/or comfort with faith, as you will be working with various Christian individuals, charities, and organizations.
  • Flexibility to work abnormal hours such as early mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Knowledge of appropriate for protocols for the reception of government officials and dignitaries is a strong asset
  • Knowledge of social etiquette
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to handle change in priorities and task urgency
  • Strong written and oral fluency in English
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and cultivate internal and external relationships with stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills that reflect the ability to manage competing priorities seamlessly under tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and apply sound judgment
  • Ability to safeguard highly confidential information and to perform with a high level of discretion, tact, professionalism, and integrity
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with an ability to quickly become familiar with Company specific applications and software
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and carry for medium distances
  • “Can-do” attitude and enthusiasm to assist on a wide range of projects and initiatives
  • Ability to speak and write Korean is an asset
  • Some travel (up to 15%) is required, must have the ability to travel within Canada and Internationally
  • Class 5 drivers license
