Position: Health Care Aid Instructor (APED) (English)
Job status: Ongoing, part-time
Location: 1259 Rue Berri, Montreal Quebec
Expected start date: March 18
Line manager: Associate program director
Working hours: Part time - 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Salary: To be discussed
Must have: Must have the interest in obtaining his commitment tolerance in order to obtain his BAAC in teaching. / or must have a BAAC in teaching.
- Must speak English very well as well as it is for an English cohort
WHAT WILL YOU DO ?
- Provide teaching that meets the module and program objectives, as defined in the curriculum.
- Evaluate student performance in a fair and sustained manner
- Participate in the development of curriculum and teaching materials
- Take part in activities organized by the college related to the program
- Support campus administrative functions to enhance the student experience
WHY YOU ?
Training and experience:
· A diploma obtained after two years of professional sales training. A bachelor's degree in teaching is an asset.
· At least 2 years of professional experience ideally in the field of private post-secondary training / or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Skills and abilities
· Ability to motivate and inspire students.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written: the candidate must be able to express themselves clearly and always demonstrate integrity, empathy and sincerity when interacting with people.
· Have an interest in pedagogy as well as teaching approaches.
· Industry-relevant skills and knowledge related to the teaching sector, including sustained development and continuous improvement
