Salary Range: $93,150+ & Full Benefits Package.
Expected to be in the office a minimum of 3-4 days per week, adjusted dependent on need.

Position Description: The position of Clinical Supervisor is full-time, based on a 40 hour week, and is a licensed therapist who provides clinical services and clinical supervision for clinical staff in mental health services. The Clinical Supervisor partners with the Clinical Manager to train, develop, and evaluate mental health staff to build clinical skills, increase productivity and ensure compliance with all Santa Clara County Medi-Cal rules regarding service delivery and documentation.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide a partial caseload for direct counseling services, including individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, assessment, treatment planning, and case management as needed.
- Provide BBS-qualifying individual and group supervision with team supervisees and any additional mental health clinical staff as needed. Supervise, co-sign and approve all clinical documentation by supervisees. Group supervision must be at least one time per week.
- Provide ongoing clinical training for MH staff as per contract requirements.
- Responsible for signing off on all treatment plans and progress notes for supervisees and trainings staff on expectations.
- Partner with clinical manager and program director to meet MH program goals and contract requirements. Support clinical manager and program director with necessary roll-outs for staff and supporting sustainability plans.
- Maintain excellent communication with staff and community.
- Meet weekly with the clinical manager and/or program director for supervision and program planning/development and is required to attend agency and MH staff meetings and in-service training. Participate as a collaborative member of agency MH team.
- Participate in Case Consultation group.
- Attends and meets contract training requirements.
- Maintain a small caseload of a minimum of 5 clients.
- Supports in rotation of the Mental Health 24 hour on-call line.
- Perform other related duties, responsibilities and special projects as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position is a clinical leadership position and not a management position. This position carries out clinical supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the agency's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training staff; assigning and directing clinical work; both individual and group supervision; oversight of staff records and reports; addressing client complaints and supporting resolution of challenging client problems.
Requirements, Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:
- Licenses – Valid California LCSW or MFT license; minimum of two years post licensure experience required. Current California driver's license.
- Education – Completion of BBS-approved Continuing Education for supervision of MFT Interns, MSW students, and Associate Clinical Social Workers.
- Experience – Two years of post-license clinical practice and experience in CA, including practice of psychotherapy or supervision for at least 2 of the past 5 years.
- Preferred Experience – Experience in Medi-Cal Mental Health service delivery; prior experience providing BBS-qualifying supervision to license-seeking staff.
- Language Skills – Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish and/or ASL especially desirable.
- Computer Skills – To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software and Word Processing software.
- Demonstrated ability to work and communicate well within a culturally diverse, multidisciplinary team.
- Other Skills and Abilities – Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Special Requirements:
- Must be able to meet and receive a criminal records clearance, as required by Title XXII, other licensing regulations, and Caminar practices.
- This position requires frequent driving. A valid California driver license, reliable personal vehicle, current personal auto insurance as required by law, and an MVR sufficient to obtain and reasonably maintain insurability under agency auto liability policies are all essential job requirements.
- Must be able to pass post offer, pre-employment medical and drug tests as required under State Community Care Licensing regulations and/or agency policies.
- A personal cell phone with reliable service and, if applicable, a data plan to use for business purposes.
- May be required to obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR certification.
