The Department
Capital Markets IT (CMI) involves technology solutions and systems used in financial markets for trading, investment, and related activities. This includes electronic trading platforms, risk management systems, market risk, counterparty risk, algorithmic trading, data analytics, and regulatory measures. The use of advanced technologies like API’s, artificial intelligence and cloud solutions are also becoming increasingly prevalent in capital markets to enhance efficiency and decision-making processes.
Role Overview
The candidate will join the Singapore Capital Market Transversal Operations IT team in charge of supporting market transaction reconciliation, valuation, payments and confirmations.
The team interfaces with Front Office applications (ORCHESTRADE…), Back-Office applications (SUMMIT, CALYPSO…), Financial reporting and Risk management systems as well as referential data repositories (customer data, market rates).

- Learn about Capital Market activities: 16 applications covering investment banking workflows.
- Benefit from the guidance of a dedicated mentor.
- Automate operational processes for real time application monitoring and user communication.
- Python scripts to compute indicators and send alerts.
- Design monitoring dashboards with Grafana, Qokpit, Dynatrace.
- Have an impact on the bank’s day-to-day activities and witness the added value of your job directly from end users.
- Contribute with creative ideas to improve systems and processes.
Qualifications and Profile
- Pursuing Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in Java and Python programming languages. Shell Scripting.
- Framework exposure to ReactJS, FastAPI, Flask and SqLite3 (DB). Postgrsql, any other RDBMS.
- Basic UNIX / Windows knowledge.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, attention to detail, & curious.
- Independent contributor with the ability to collaborate and work effectively within the team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for automation, standardization and best practices.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to latest/new technologies.
The scope will be adapted depending on the situation and the progress of the trainee.
