Cash Management and Corporate Banking Services (CCS) Department

CCS is at the heart of many large and deep IT transformation programs of the bank. Our expertise on conducting such programs makes us a key actor of the transformation of strategic activities of the bank like Cash Management, Payments, Financing and Trade Finance. The information systems we produce, with budgets in excess of 100ME, have a profound and lasting impact on CACIB digital transformation and are key for the bank success and competitive advantage.

Propeller Trainee Programme

Position

In a challenging and multicultural environment, we seek an application deployment and support specialist to join our Release Management (RMG) team of core banking IT domain.

 

Overview: The candidate will be responsible for Software Deployment in Integration and UAT environments and to provide technical support L1/L2 for the International core banking eco-system of the bank running worldwide.

 

The core banking eco-system includes 25+ applications covering accounting, financing trade, payments, client referential data, risk management, local regulatory reporting and Head Office reporing.

 

Work in close interaction with Project Stakeholders (Application Development team, Application Support team, Production team, Business entities) in order to deliver worldwide the various Strategic, Tactical and Regulatory projects multi year roadmap.

 

Core programming languages: .Net, Java, SQL, Go, Rust, JavaScript, TypeScript

Tools

Main responsibilities

  • Application deployment and level 1&2 support during SIT, UAT and production implementation for the core banking system of the bank (for Asia, Europe, Middle East and Africa).
  • Follow UAT issues and enquiries from business users until their appropriate closure (incident communication, root cause analysis and permanent resolution).
  • Engagement with development teams on a regular basis. Appropriate escalation of critical queries.
  • Monitoring of batches to ensure that any incident is solved in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and improve DevOps tools.
  • Maintain programmable code outlined in technical instructions and specifications for software applications.

-          Prepare and maintain installation instruction documents, technical procedures and release procedures.

  • Act as point of contact for assigned relese activities and Coordinate with various contributors from End Users, Appliocation development and support to production services for smooth roll-out of the relelases worldwide. 

 

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of all phases of the system development and implementation life cycle (SDLC).

 

Education

 

  • Fresher or Junior Level (less than 3 years of professional experience)
  • Master or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
