The Role

As a Byte Country Manager, you are an entrepreneurial minded business leader. We’re looking for an individual who can think strategically at the highest level while simultaneously managing the execution of the day to day operations. You thrive in managing ambiguity. We are seeking a growth-minded innovator experienced in tackling complex problems while considering the short- and long-term goals of the business. In this role you will be responsible for both building and leading a high-performing team, and also managing a P&L. Success requires strong leadership and management skills, interpersonal savvy, problem-solving sophistication, a willingness to roll up your sleeves and a dedication to make the highest impact possible. The ideal candidate has a demonstrated track record of creating business plans, leading teams, and delivering results in a digital business. You will be part of the Byte leadership team and report directly to the COO.

What You Will Do:

  • Strategise - Conceptualise a roadmap to scale the business while collaborating with Operations, Product, Marketing and Finance teams
  • Own – Leverage both quantitative and qualitative data to identify strengths, weaknesses and competitive pressures within your region
  • Lead - Build and grow the Byte UK team, providing strategic guidance, managing priorities, growing skills, promoting best practices, developing culture, and evaluating performance
  • Inspire – Cultivate relationships internally and externally motivating and influencing people at all levels across a variety of job functions
  • Own the DTC P&L for the UK
  • Build and lead long-term operational strategy, ensuring profitability and continuous innovation of digital platforms

About You:

  • Demonstrated success in scaling an e-commerce business and working with stakeholders to drive growth, retention, revenue, and other key metrics
  • Experience in leading diverse teams and identifying essential personnel to grow and improve the business
  • A rigorous, quantitative approach to problem-solving and a drive to optimize existing processes
  • Self-starter and self-motivated with the proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Intellectually curious and always striving to learn more
