Burlington Emergency & Veterinary Specialist is looking for an amazing Client Service Supervisor to join our growing team! 

Position/Job Summary

The purpose of this position is to supervise, direct, plan, coordinate, and perform a variety of client communication duties to ensure outstanding customer support and promote increased efficiency within the department. Spends the majority of time on Client Care Coordinator (CCC) duties. Also observes and evaluates other CCCs in order to guide and assist them for the mutual benefit of the team. Sets an example for all CCSs. Delegates tasks that can be handled by others in order to have enough time to perform special projects, including the implementation of new ideas and procedures while increasing employee morale.
 
Essential Functions:
  • Supervise employees on the client care team.
  • Hire, onboard and train new and existing client care employees.
  • Provide client-centric, quality customer service to all clients and patients of BEVS, including and not limited to the responsibilities and duties of a CCC.
  • Delegates duties to each employee to ensure that daily tasks are accomplished.
  • Ensure that the team is properly scheduling appointments and obtaining all necessary data concerning the patient and owner, including and not limited to retrieving referral information, records and radiographs and attaching to patients’ records.
  • Assist CCCs with complex client/patient financial and emotional cases.
  • Provide one-on-one training and mentor new CCC team members of BEVS systems, procedures, and to develop customer service skills.
  •  Maintain documentation pertaining to Client Care department activities, processes, and procedures.
  •  Motivate the team to perform at their best and promote the BEVS mission and core values.
  • Assist in developing programs to improve the morale of the Client Care team. Show appreciation for the team daily, and with the successful execution of programs.
  • Serve as a representative of the hospital, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and a positive attitude in all interactions with clients, patients, and other staff members.
  • Work well with all employees and ensure that your actions support the hospital, the doctors, and the practice philosophy.
  • Attend training sessions to increase knowledge of systems, procedures, and to further develop customer service skills.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including CCC duties.
Education and Experience:
  •  High school diploma or GED certificate required; college graduate preferred.
  •  3-5 years client support service experience in a fast paced, in-person organization.
  •  Knowledge of general office practices and procedures, Client Care Coordinator duties, and telephone techniques.
