Position Overview:
Bulletproof is looking for a Senior Manager, FP&A with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a fervent desire to learn to help us build a world-class company and grow our knowledge base.  Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Senior Manager, FP&A will be responsible for leading the company’s annual planning process, maintaining the company wide three statement reporting model, and forecasting.  They will work across all departments to provide a wide range of financial and decision support information to the leadership team, including monthly OPEX reviews, evaluating new initiatives, and maintaining long range financial plans.  The Senior Manager, FP&A will interact frequently with the leadership team, by doing so this they will become a trusted thought partner.  The Senior Manager, FP&A will start with one direct report.
 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Own the rolling forecast and long-range planning process at the corporate level in close coordination with the VP of Finance
  • Oversee preparation of budgets and forecasts.  Help establish the monthly and quarterly reporting and re-forecasting cadence and align with Accounting's close schedule
  • Prepare annual plans with year-on-year and quarter-on-quarter variance analysis
  • Develop robust models on trends, key business drivers and financial results to prioritize & plan investment decisions in collaboration with the leadership team
  • Help operationalize and streamline the systems and data collection processes needed to support a robust forecasting and planning process
  • Lead preparation of leadership team materials, including monthly dashboard of operating results, trends and metrics
  • Provide analytical, modeling and due diligence support as needed
  • Provide guidance and feedback to leaders throughout the business
  • Other ad hoc projects as need be
Qualifications:
As this is a highly cross-functional role, candidates are required to be highly analytical and very effective communicators.  The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of superior financial modeling, using analysis to influence decision-making, including prior experience in a corporate finance and/or strategy-related role.  The candidate should be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, highly team-oriented, inquisitive, enjoy problem solving and focused on driving towards results.
  • 4-8+ years in relevant financial reporting/financial analysis experience with a proven track record of success in positions of increasing responsibility
  • Candidates with experience in CPG or a business with manufacturing and/or distribution highly preferred; or, experience with a DTC business
  • Excellent financial modeling skills and experience leading and managing highly quantitative, complex analysis
  • Very strong communication/ presentation skills with experience creating and delivering effective presentations to the leadership team
  • Strong people management skills, with a proven ability to manage and grow a team
  • Comfortable with fast-paced, demanding environment. Must manage multiple tasks and juggle several urgent demands at any given point, while adapting to changing priorities

Annual base salary gross: $135,000-$145,000/year. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position.  The base salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
