Position Summary

Buckman is looking for Regulatory Manager for its headquarters in Memphis, TN. The associate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the laws and regulations associated with the sale of chemical products.

 

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Manages the flow of Regulatory Information and Consultation (ie: State Substances Lists, Prop 65,
  • HAPS content, VOC Content, Local, State, and Federal Laws and Regulations, Ozone Depleting
  • Substances, FIFRA and TSCA data, State Registrations as required, new evolving regulations, Kosher,
  • BfR and other Country specific regulatory listings, etc.) for Buckman North America and its clients.
  • Ensures timely production within Regulatory Affairs of SDSs and associated Labels
  • Prioritizes, plans, manages, and provides Buckman Associates and Customer Support regarding Regulatory needs
  • Manages Regulatory Associates as assigned and executes special Compliance Team projects as assigned
  • Timely Submissions & Responses for Buckman North America regarding Internal and External Needs 

Key Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university in Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering or related field
  • 7-15 years’ experience in in regulatory affairs with experience in industrial chemicals preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Ability to read, analyze, create, and interpret highly technical documentation
