Position Summary

As the Country Controller this position will be responsible for Buckman’s North America's accounting processes, standards and outputs. . This position will be responsible for oversight of  recording and reporting of all financial transactions in the company, preparation and management of financial statements and reports,  and support FP&A with annual reporting and participate in forecasting and trends analysis. This role will provide sound financial insights, analysis and advice to support senior management and stakeholders to make key business financial decisions that maximize profit and generate cash flow. 

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Overall management and review of the month end close process before final review by the Global Corporate Controller
  • Produce accurate and timely financial reporting for the global community 
  • Prepare global financial reports (Whitebook), containing income statements, balance sheets, cashflow statements, etc.
  • Prepare board reports
  • Analyze cash flow
  • Compare the statistical and industry data in the H1 and H4 hierarchies
  • Analyze intercompany imbalances
  • Participate in the month end close process by reviewing general ledger expenses and posting entries in both BPC & ECC
  • Manage the rates system
  • Roll reports and load headcount
  • Review company data as companies close their books for accuracy 
  • Validate and close the month 
  • Fully responsible for Accounting activities in North America 


Essential Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration from four-year college or university
  • MBA/Master’s degree in a business field preferred
  • Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, or CFA
  • 7-10 years of experience in Financial Accounting
  •  Knowledge of the financial information systems software such as SAP, PBC, BI, Qlik, etc.
