Location: Remote, home office position located in Raleigh NC

Travel: 20% regional travel

Position Mission Statement

To support sales growth in a specific sales territory by performing support activities that help sales associates grow sales and gain new customers in alignment with Digital Water Treatment’s strategic goals and priorities.  This position proactively secures order renewals across the existing customer base and identifies/provides new customer opportunities/sales leads to field sales associates. This position assists with client retention and engagement.  

Outcomes

  • Growing territory revenue by: 
  • Assisting and conducting sales visits, presenting proposals and helping close sales. 
  • Gaining the customer’s buy-in by conveying the unique value of Buckman’s solution.  Uses data insights to demonstrate value, help advance sales, and grow the business.   
  • Leveraging the Connected Prospecting platform to identify and help manage prospects.
    • Using digital applications and marketing tools to provide the right solution to a customer’s need.
  • Contacting the customer to ensure a positive customer experience and to maintain a strong customer relationship. 
  • Builds the sales pipeline by conducting outbound calls to potential customers to sell products/services and create appointments for fields sales associates. 
  • Creates positive customer engagement by managing and executing outbound business development activities with an emphasis on order renewals, cross-selling and upselling to the existing Buckman Digital Water Treatment customers.
  • Ensures that an excellent customer experience is provided.  Answers questions, follows-up on problems/issues, gathers customer feedback and ensures services are effectively provided. 
  • Collaborates closely with the marketing team to execute marketing campaigns to drive new business.
  • Uses social media to promote the brand, engage, interact, and influence potential and current customers. 
  • Builds a network (internally and with customer base) to ensure that customer issues/concerns are quickly resolved. 
  • Working safely meeting all safety goals and targets.

Minimum requirements to apply

  • This is an internship position.  To be considered for this position, candidates must be currently enrolled in a college or university
  • Aptitude and interest in a sales career is needed.
  • Demonstrated sales success is highly desirable, but not required
