Position goals

Responsible for products supply to Argentina, considering inventory cost and service level to Buckman's customers. Contract and manage the Warehouses and Logistics Services for Argentina distribution operation, maintaining the required operational cost and service level. Responsible for administrative procedures as Buckman's Argentina proxy.
  

Success metrics

Argentina´s supply chain planning 

  • Monthly product procurement planning for Argentina.
  • Determine requirements and send consumption forecasts to intercompany and external suppliers.
  • Responsible for foreign trade activities, to secure on-time product supply.

  

Argentina’s Tolling management and coordination 

  • Monthly product formulation planning for Argentina
  • Secure supply by sending the production forecast to the tollers.
  • Service level and cost management

  

Argentina’s Logistics and Warehouse providers management and coordination 

  • Distribution and logistics services management for Argentina, achieving the best costs and service quality equation.
  • Internal logistic management, achieving the best costs and service quality equation.
  • Warehouse services management, achieving the best costs and service quality equation.
  • Reverse logistics management for product returns and empty containers, according to Buckman safety procedures
  • Product distribution logistics to main customers in Santa Cruz, Chubut, and Neuquén areas through logistics providers management (24 contractor associates), defining key performance indicators that guarantee the agreed service level.
  • Cost indicators compliance, according to Buckman global standards.
  • Contribute to the fulfillment of the Perfect Order Indicator of Argentina through the provision of inventory and participation in meetings with the customer service area, to detect and correct deviations.

Position requirements

  

  • Bachelor´s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Administration, or similar (desired).
  • 5 years of experience in operations, supply chain and/or logistics, preferably in multinational companies (desired).
  • Mastery of logistics concepts.
  • MRP system knowledge (desired) / SAP knowledge (desired).
  • Materials planning experience (desired).
  • Warehouse operations and stock management concepts.
  • Experience in 3PL supplier management.
  • Experience in foreign trade (desired).
  • Basic financial concepts (desired).
  • English – intermediate (required).
  • Portuguese intermediate (desired).
  • Travel - 25%
