Position Summary

Contributes to the success of Buckman’s digital strategy by providing routine and emergency site services including on site chemical testing, sensor calibration, and Ackumen maintenance and plays a role in account management.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Provides on-site customer service for Buckman Digital Water customers in the region
  • Completes on site calibration of sensors on Ackumen equipment 
  • Documents services provided and reports value of Buckman Digital Water and Ackumen to customers during visits
  • Conducts emergency site visits to troubleshoot support requirements, identifies and resolves issues on site, and reports findings and solutions to customers in person and via Ackumen
  • Provides remote installation support and conducts on site installation using Buckman Digital Water installation tools and following the Buckman Digital Water process
  • Coordinates installations with sales reps, insights lab, and customers 
  • Travels for installations outside of the region as required 
  • Supports third party installers and installations 
  • Manages on site relationships with customers 
Essential Job Requirements
  • Vocational or associates degree in mechanical related area or equivalent experience 
  • 1-3 years experience with electrical controls, electrical troubleshooting, PLC controllers, or other automation
  • 1-3 years experience with piping systems, troubleshooting mechanical systems, PVC piping, or similar 
  • Mechanical aptitude 
  • Ability to read and interpret basic electrical and mechanical drawings and P&ID's
  • Proven ability to work remotely, independently, and without supervision 
  • Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel on short notice when required, must be willing to travel within region
