Position Summary

CSE technical engineer to focus on:

  1. Supporting sales effort in the field of equipment & engineering for our pulp & paper making, water treatment and all associated industries by serving as technical expert to the sales force & Buckman customers in accordance with divisions and company’s business strategic and goals of sales growth, profitability, and cash flow.
  2. Support technical specialist in India on routine CSE jobs.
  3. Support and communicate safety initiatives from the SHE department to the sales force.
  4. Manage maintenance activities for critical equipment.
  5. Support technical specialist in India with management of warehouse activity.
  6. Support technical specialist in India to manage Non-Inventory Purchase (NIP) activities effectively by improving equipment delivery periods and minimizing CSE spend.



Education: (Area / Major / Discipline)

  • Engineering in Instrumentation/ Automation/ Mechanical


  • + 3 Years’ experience in the field of chemical dosing equipment support
  • Knowledge in Industrial Safety
  • Expertise in instrumentation, sensors and mechanical to support development of SD


  • Ability to travel extensively throughout India and Bangladesh region.


Job Responsibilities


  1. Support sales team in engineering and equipment applications:
  • Understanding of customer/sales team requirement regarding equipment including meeting with sales team & customer engineering team.
  • Conducting plant surveys and determining site suitability for safe installation of equipment.
  • Meeting with contractors for specialized and custom-built equipment.
  • Managing installation and commissioning equipment.
  • Providing on-site training and problem solving for our customers & sales associates on safe handling of equipment.
  • Establishing and monitoring preventive maintenance protocol.
  • Employing analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to address equipment related problems.
  • Attend and complete all training (ILT and WBT).


  1. Effective support of CSE team routine activities:
  • Working collaboratevely with other engineers in CSE team to ensure projects are delivered effectively with high engineering and safety standards.
  • Coordinating and cooperating within CSE team to manage equipment projects effectively.
  • Using the field equipment team site and its function to communicate information accros the team.
  • Using project monitoring tools and updating periodically.
  • Striving to develop a very high level of product knowledge, and become proficient in service and repair of all field equipment and systems (current, new and updates).
  • Submitting site visit reports in a temely manner and following up on the visit action plans for completion.
  • Participating in OEM training, industry events, conferences, meetings, etc. as required, to enhance technical knowledge and stay up to date on latest industrial trends in field equipment.
  • Managing time effectively, prioritizing and making business judgements and decisions to result in effeciencies and effectiveness whilst meeting daily support and service expectations from field.
  • Maintaining and updating CSE asset data and reviewing periodiocally for effective utilizaton of assets.


  1. Safety activities
  • Proactively checking all equipment safety aspects (operation and designs)
  • Undertsanding and ensuring compliance with relevant health, safety regulations, and quality standards related to equipment installation and operations.
  • Promoting workplace safety in every site visit (teach by example).
  • Completing general safety audits of equipment condition during site visits.


  1. Maintenance activities
  • Developing equipment Preventive Maintenance (PM) plan for dosing equipment in India.
  • Implementing PM activities as per schedule.
  • Managing critical spare parts requirement for dosing equipment.
  • Periodically accessing the repair of idle equipment in the field and taking corrective action.
  • Conducting asset audits and asset tagging periodically and ensure the asset register is up to date and reconciles with finance team data.
  • Identifying and providing recommendations and improvement for non-standard and complex equipment.
  • Following company policies and procedures regarding assets transactions, both internal and external.


  1. Warehouse management
  • Managing all idle equipment stored at warehouse.
  • Controlling and recording equipment movement from and to warehouse.
  • Providing all necessary documentation for dispatch of equipment to the respective area.
  • Packing & forwarding spare parts as required.


  1. Non-Inventory Purchases (CSE related)
  • Follow SOP in each process from equipment process to dispatch.
  • Effectively negotiating with suppliers to maximise hard dollar savings on CSE spend.
  • Minimizing leadtime for equipment delivery to meet sales expectations.
  • Documenting all transactions, equipment placement agreements, equipment insurance, etc and meet statutory compliance.
  • Working with OEMs on improving contract pricing, credits benefits, inventory and service support.
