Mission Statement

This is a fantastic opportunity for an operations minded person to support existing accounts, as well as support the sales team with the operations end of new sales projects using Buckman’s unique technologies and customer relationship management programs. You will be able to work independently whilst will having support from your colleagues located across the EMENA region. This opportunity will play crucial role in positioning Buckman as the customer's first choice for chemical solutions and application expertise.

 

 

Expectations for the role

 

          Safety

          Overall support in implementing the safety protocols and documentation in Buckman in ensuring correct company safety culture

          Hazardous Chemical Application Standards (HCAS) implementation and management

          Special safety projects e.g. roll out of mandated change in chemical injection valves; bulk tank overfill protection audits

          Stock management

          Work closely with the customer services team to place orders, report levels, support the Stock-pile management (Acumen) initiative for digitalizing stock management, Consignment management, Package process management

          Oversee required chemical deliveries

          Chemical storage audits and new bulk delivery assessments including optimization of stock levels and ensuring optimal tank sizes and safe storage

          (day to day) Application management 

          Sampling, process analyses and chemical analyses in support of Buckman’s business – reporting these results to the relevant sales associate

          Usage rate audits – highlighting variances

          Field support for quality issues include sampling, logistics and reverse logistics

          Equipment

          Spares management and preventative maintenance implementation

          Customer service equipment (CSE) ordering

          New CSE Implementation and project support

          Asset management, including tracking

          SD support and integration

          Project management

          Trial support for Sales and Operations

          CSE, Product, Supply Chain requirements, safety (HCAS), reverse logistics

          CSE projects in support on new and existing sales

          Special Supply Chain projects

          E.g. run in, run out product swaps

 

Minimum requirement to apply

 

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university or A-level equivalent in one of the following fields Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering/ Papermaking/ Water treatment
  • A Supply Chain and Safety courses would be an added value
