Job Summary 
Territory Sales Manager will support and manage multiple industries in Canada.  The Territory Manager will focus primarily on helping drive new opportunities (applications, industries, customers, etc.) with current products while maintaining existing customer base.  A secondary function will be to expand the product portfolio through partnering with Marketing and Innovation leadership to enable sales to take more differentiated offerings to market.  Position will utilize Buckman's unique smart digital technologies and customer relationship management programs to activate new channels, business-models, contracts, and partnerships to grow market share.  In this position it will be critical to identify pricing, bundling, and positioning opportunities for success.
 
Main Success Metrics 
  • MPC generation at new customer accounts 
  • MPC metrics in KPM tracked quarterly
  • Safety Leader
  • Successful trial/business conversions
  • New accounts/ programs gained in KPMs, tracked quarterly
  • Highly involved with sales funnel planning and tracking with RSM or Strategic Account Leader

Minimum Requirements: 
  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BEng);
  • Chemical engineering, chemistry, or biology preferred
  • 5 years + proven sales record and or years related experience and/or training, or
  • 5 years + of experience working in related industries.
  • Successful selling record, preferably in chemical sales related to water treatment. 
  • Demonstrated understanding of business/finance and terminology desirable 
  • Water treatment experience will be an asset

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 10 years + proven sales record and or years related experience and/or training 
  • Large account management experience – 3+ MM sales/year 
  • Consignment inventory and billing experience 
  • Solid understanding of smart digital solutions and can identify customer opportunities.  
  • Demonstrated understanding of business/finance and terminology desirable. 
  • P & L management for people and accounts within assigned responsibility
  • Understanding of smart digital solutions and can identify customer opportunities
