Position Mission Statement 
To establish sales and increase market awareness of an innovative industrial water treatment offering through developing relationships, executing trials and developing case studies.  This role will help the team develop new and creative business models through innovations in offerings, channel choices, and service strategies.  This is a great opportunity to work in a “startup-like” environment with the comfort of strong financial backing from Buckman.  The individual will work closely with the leadership team and help bridge the customer-facing learnings with the development team.  The role is ideal for someone motivated by the innovation theme, enjoys the ability to make agile decisions, and is excited about getting on the ground floor of a promising venture.  Target customers are Enterprise level clients with multiple sites servicing the Institutional, Commercial and Light Manufacturing segments.  This is a remote position. 

 
Outcomes 

  • Identify and qualify prospects across several channels to market 
  • Close strategic customers building credibility within target markets 
  • Design and implement strategic plans for acquiring corporate accounts

Must have had successful experiences: 

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS) in a technical area of expertise from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent experience. 
  • 5+ years of B2B chemical sales and account management with at least 2 years selling to enterprise accounts. 
  • Managed industrial chemical applications scope of work 
  • Demonstrated success as a corporate account manager 
  • Experience presenting to executive level customers 

Preferred qualifications 

  • 2+ years of industrial water treatment experience 
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing others in a leadership role 
  • Sales strategy development 
  • Understanding of mechanical contractors, facility managers and the water treatment landscape 
  • Engineering degree from an accredited four-year college or university 
  • MBA or marketing experience 
  • Digital pioneer
