Position Summary

Buckman is seeking a  Regulatory Manager to join our dynamic team at our headquarters in Memphis, TN. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in ensuring our compliance with laws and regulations governing the sale of chemical products.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Take the lead in managing Regulatory Information and Consultation, covering a diverse array of areas such as State Substances Lists, Prop 65, HAPS content, VOC Content, and various local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Spearhead the timely production of Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) and associated Labels within our esteemed Regulatory Affairs department.
  • Prioritize and meticulously plan the fulfillment of Regulatory needs for both Buckman North America and our valued clients, while providing unwavering support to our dedicated team members and customers.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Regulatory Associates, while also championing special Compliance Team projects as assigned.
  • Ensure seamless submissions and responses for internal and external regulatory requirements, showcasing our commitment to compliance excellence.
Key Requirements:
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university.
  • Bring 7-15 years of invaluable experience in regulatory affairs to the table, with a strong preference for candidates with expertise in industrial chemicals.
  • Demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills that inspire confidence and collaboration.
  • Exhibit a remarkable ability to grasp and interpret highly technical documentation with precision and positivity.
