SHERQ Coordinator

Position Summary

The role will play a pivotal role in executing Buckman’s SHERQ strategy. The SHERQ Coordinator is responsible to ensure compliance on Buckman policies and procedures on Regulatory, Quality, Safety, Health & Environment.

 

  • Regulatory affairs COFEPRIS, SEMARNAT, SAGARPA (SADER)
  • Maintaining MSDS updates

          Collaboration with sales and operations to ensure SHE requirements’ compliance.

          Management of LTIR & OIR indicators

          Establishing good communication with warehouses to ensure compliance.

          Advising Buckman about ergonomics for associate’s health and safety

          Hazmat (hazardous materials regulations), warehouse and transports

          To coordinate internal and external ISO audits

          Managing Non-Conformance’s process and monitoring action plans

          To provide support to Quality Assurance to approve products’ specifications

          To provide COAs to customers in timely manner.

          To coordinate samples’ analysis with warehouses or suppliers to ensure quality standards and/or extend shelf life.

          To carry out product updates (raw materials and finished product) in the SAP system

          Overseeing tolling agreements/contracts’ compliance

          Collaborating with other operation areas to ensure supply on time.

          Ensuring full compliance of tollers with quality requirements.

          Maintaining registrations, licenses and certification updated (Mexico and Central America)

          Execute disposal of chemicals according to regulations

          Ensuring the SHE training is aligned to global standards and local regulations

Minimum Requirements to Apply

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent Chemistry, quality, regulatory or related discipline.
  • Advanced English level is a must
  • 5+ yrs of experience in similar positions
  • Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent research, analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organization skills
