ELECTRICAL JOURNEYMEN

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems
  • Must be able to interpret blueprints and manufacturer's specifications
  • May be required to train and instruct apprentice-level electricians
  • Ability to complete tasks efficiently with attention to detail
  • Follows written and verbal instructions
  • Use equipment and tools properly and safely.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Employees may be required to work extended hours (more than 8 hours per day), on weekends and will be compensated based on the Fair Labor Standards Act guidelines.

 Qualifications and Requirements

  • 4+ years experience in the commercial construction industry
  • Must be able to pass a background and drug test
  • Reliable transportation
  • OSHA 10 Preferred.
  • A valid driver’s record preferred
  • This is a safety-sensitive position; the candidate must complete and pass a background check and a ten-panel drug /alcohol testing
