LOCATION: Anywhere in the U.S./Remote

REPORTS TO: Director of Product

POSITION SUMMARY: 

Broadvoice is looking for an experienced API Product Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate for this role is a dynamic, talented, go-getter who can lead our new API strategy aiming at solving some key issues within UCaas and CCaaS. If you have experience and a passion for solving user problems, we want to talk to you! 

 

 

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY: 

  • Research oriented. Identify the gaps in end user workflow with regards to UCaaS solutions within various verticals.
  • Identify opportunities for workflow automation that can be achieved via multiple systems integrations.
  • Partner with internal developers who consume private APIs to integrate business systems.
  • Partner with developers who consume APIs restricted to use within strategic business relationships.
  • Partner with third-party developers with access to public APIs
  • Build and manage API Roadmap.
  • Monetize API solutions and manage success metrics for solutions.
  • Build use cases for API integration to enable targeted solutioning and articulate the business value of API’s.
  • Clearly identify problems and bring simplicity to the solutions.
  • Perform in depth competitive analysis and clearly identify opportunities for solution differentiation.

 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM: 

  • 8+ years of Technical Product Management experience building great API products.
  • Strong analytical skillset to decipher business needs and recommend solutions
  • Ability to develop and maintain product specifications.
  • Ability to think creatively and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to take charge and thrive in fast paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to influence without authority.
  • An understanding of the dynamics of API based service economy.
  • Sound technical and business knowledge. One who can view issues from user’s lens and apply technical expertise to resolve those issues.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS industry.
  • Passionate about solving user problems and looking at solutions from user behavior perspective.
  • Highly responsible, self-disciplined, creative, and confident
  • Ability to juggle priorities, pace, and multiple deliverables.
  • Solid understanding of application architectures, databases, APIs,
  • 2–3 years of prior software development experience a must!
  • Experienced with JSON, XML, REST, gRPC and GraphQL.
