LOCATION: Northridge, California/Hybrid Remote 

DEPARTMENT: Training & Development

REPORTS TO: Training Manager

PERCENTAGE OF TRAVEL: Up to <10%

 

POSITION SUMMARY: 

Broadvoice is looking for an Operations Training Specialist to work closely with our Enablement, Technical Support and Customer Service teams. You will play a vital role in developing and delivering exceptional eLearning, Instructor Led, and Virtual Led Trainings to onboard and up skill our Operational team members. If you are passionate about technology and can communicate complex technical information to a broad audience, we want to talk to you! 

 

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY: 

  • Serve as a brand ambassador for Broadvoice by knowing our Operational processes in and out, living our core values, and delivering a positive training experience.
  • Collaborate with Operations teams to assess business needs, objectives, and current skill gaps to help define training and development opportunities for new and existing employees. 
  • Design, develop, and facilitate ILTs and eLearning courses such as videos, interactive content, and print materials using eLearning authoring tools.
  • Schedule and deliver fundamental trainings to new employees, track training completion, monitor assignments, and follow up with participants as need.
  • Stay current on policies and procedures for Operational teams; keep trainings and reference materials up to date as needed. 
  • Stay abreast of new trends and tools for training effectiveness.
  • Promote an active and engaged learning environment throughout the Training Department.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM: 

  • You are self-motivated, technically proficient, intellectually curious and have the patience and passion to guide others as they get up to speed and become Broadvoice platform champions.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in adult learning principles and theories with proven track record of adapting style and content to meet the needs of appropriate audiences.
  • 3+ years of experience in instructional design or training resources development using eLearning authoring tools Articulate (Storyline and Rise) and Camtasia or related tools. 
  • Proven project management experience; working within a full cycle of instructional design including analysis, design, development, and delivery.
  • B2B SaaS and enterprise software training experience preferred. 
  • Familiarity managing courses and learners in a learning management system.
  • Ability to solve problems, remain agile in a rapidly evolving environment, and manage input from multiple stakeholders.
  • Exceptional writing, design and editing skills.
  • A collaborative, team player with a strong focus on delivering for impact.
