Sales Manager Job Summary:

Fort Myers Broadcasting Company in beautiful, sunny Southwest Florida has an immediate opening for a dynamic Sales Manager to lead our Spanish Sales Division which consists of three Television stations (Univision, UniMas & Estrella) and three Radio stations (97.7 Latino, 97.3/95.7 Maxima & 94.1 La Raza). We are looking for an energetic, outgoing, results-driven professional to lead and grow our team of experienced professionals. Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple challenges simultaneously. Are you able to take initiative and make decisions without daily guidance? Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide exemplary leadership for the local sales department.
  • Define account executive performance expectations and measurement processes to ensure efforts will lead to achieving goals.
  • Motivate and encourage the sales team to ensure quotas are met.
  • Conduct one-on-one meetings and quarterly strategy meetings with each Account Executive.
  • Develop relationships with our clients and key prospects via frequent visibility, including active participation in the entire sales process, getting out on sales calls, and entertaining clients.
  • Assist in accurately forecasting revenue throughout the year & exceeding quarterly & annual forecasts.
  • Manage inventory and rates alongside the National Sales Manager to maximize station revenue and achieve and exceed revenue goals.
  • Take ownership of local budgets and revenue goals and constantly develop strategies to overachieve.
  • Continue to meet and exceed our departmental goals for all Revenue, Market Share, and New Business.
  • Collaborate effectively with other Managers and Supervisors to develop sales quotas and strategies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office products and ideally has experience with Wide Orbit.

Experience Requirements:

An ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of broadcast sales management experience.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience Preferred
