Hybrid Work Schedule: 3 Days Onsite in Blue Bell, PA
Here’s what you’d do:
The IT Operations Security Manager contributes to our cybersecurity initiatives. This role oversees and conducts complex technical work across IT operations, cybersecurity and compliance processes, while leveraging best-of-breed cybersecurity tools. Supervision is exercised over IT Engineers and Administrators.
You’d be responsible for:
- Develop and maintain BrightView’s existing security strategy, best practices, and procedures based on organizational goals.
- Identify and eliminate security vulnerabilities with strategic solutions that increase data security.
- Stay current on emerging security threats and technologies, stay informed about updates to relevant security standards and compliance requirements including but not limited to GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, etc.
- Evaluate and manage third-party vendor relationships from a security and compliance perspective.
- Partner with BrightView’s Legal Department on contract reviews.
- Complete compliance review of candidate BrightView vendors, 3rd party service providers, and consultants with potential to access, transact or store BrightView sensitive data.
- Conduct regular internal system cybersecurity audits and software performance reviews.
- Maintain and update content for IT Security and Compliance training.
- Compose regularly scheduled executive summary reports on overall security posture.
- Collaborate with IT project teams on risk and control / compliance requirements for new systems and process implementations.
- Help manage IT Operations expenses, ensuring cost-effective technology is in place.
- Monitor IT Infrastructure and serve as escalation point for any outages or issues, ensure timely troubleshooting, response, and adherence to SLAs.
- Administer and maintain IT Operations’ compliance engagements in ServiceNow. Generate progress reports to ensure activities are completed on time, with accuracy and appropriate evidence retained. Support and partner with Manager of IT Audit & Compliance to coordinate the audit of IT SOX / SOC controls and processes.
- Scrutinize and validate potential audit findings and discuss corrections with auditors as appropriate.
- Partner with the Manager of IT Audit & Compliance to develop and implement internal controls and best practices to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations. Update and maintain IT Operations’ Controlled Document library consisting of auditable policies, procedures and processes. Conduct an annual review to ensure documents are maintained and stay current.
You might be a good fit if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with specific leading-edge tools in BrightView’s cybersecurity suite a plus, including but not limited to: Cofense, CloudFlare, CrowdStrike, FortiNet, Metasploit, Microsoft Defender and Sentinel, Nessus and Proofpoint.
- Familiarity with ITIL and compliance, at least one certification such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CISM, or CDPSE preferred.
- Certification or minimum 5 years’ experience in technical project management.
- Relevant experience in IT Compliance, Information Security, Risk Management or Audit.
- Working knowledge of IT Infrastructure, Cloud Infrastructure (Azure, AWS, and GCP), Local and Wide Area Networks, ZTNA, and Telecommunications design and support.
- Excellent multitasking, problem-solving, communication, organizational and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with service management software, specifically ServiceNow, preferred.
