Here’s what you’d do:

The Benefits Specialist supports all aspects and initiatives of the Benefits Team and acts as a data, information, and people liaison between team members, vendors, and other Departments. The role requires strong organizational, multi-tasking, and follow-through skills. 

You’d be responsible for:

  • Support Health and Welfare Open Enrollment and New Hire Enrollment, including team member questions, communication review, and benefit orientations
  • Administer all aspects of the 401k and Deferred Compensation plans, including but not limited to data accuracy, communications, audits, compliance, and reporting
  • Assist with benefit communication and training efforts, coordinating with broker, vendors, and employees. Assist with Spanish translations as needed 
  • Responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of benefit data in the HRIS system and creating related reports, as needed
  • Lean in and assist on high volume overflow from the shared email box and the BrightView Benefits line
  • Liaise with HR Business Partners, Legal, vendors, and the benefit call center on escalated employee benefits issues 
  • Create and maintaining documentation of ongoing processes and procedures
  • Support and in some instances lead Benefits Team special projects and initiatives 

You might be a good fit if you have:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • Bilingual English and Spanish speaker
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the analysis and administration of employee benefit programs
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, high priority tasks and adjust to shifting priorities, while meeting deadlines
  • Strong analytical, modeling, forecasting, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to produce clear and effective written communication to diverse audiences
  • Experience with delivery of benefits to a large distributed workforce or within the services industry preferred
  • Strong software skills including HR information systems, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
