Snow Captain/Supervisor

Here’s what you’d do:
In this role you will be responsible for supporting Branch Teams in the area of Snow and Ice Management through service partner engagement, safety/training, production, in-storm and post-storm responsibilities, and inventory/equipment management.
You’d be responsible for:
- Service Partner Engagement
- On-site visit (client sites) / Relationship development
- Lead Subcontractor optimization to ensure quality and efficiency
- Manage multiple service partners during snow storms
- Safety / Training
- Providing training and guidance to crew members, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Coordinate with team members, service partners, and client onsite trainings as needed
- Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and promoting a safe work environment for the team.
- Production
- Coordinate with branch teams to validate Production/Snow Organizational Charts
- Implementing snow clearing plans, ensuring efficient and timely removal of snow from driveways, parking lots, walkways, and other designated areas.
- Equipment/Inventory Management
- Maintains inventory by physical inspections
- Monitor/assist pre-storm and post-storm equipment checks
- Ensure bagged materials are stored properly
- In-Storm / Post-Storm Responsibilities
- Support branch, subcontractors
- Aid Branch Administrator in timesheet collection
- Assist in collection of subcontractor invoices/timesheet when needed
You might be a good fit if you have:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of snow removal experience and 5-8 years of generally managing teams
- Ability to manage multiple sites, meeting deadlines, and demands
- Communicate clearly, comfortably, and effectively with clients, team members, and management
And while not mandatory, it would be great if you also have:
- Ability to drive all company vehicles
- Resolve problems while keeping in mind the best interests of the company, client and employees
- Prioritize and plan work to maximize efficiency
- Complete paperwork accurately and timely
- Do any of the following for an extended period:
- Drive
- Paperwork/Documentation
- Good knowledge of industrial materials and equipment used in snow removal
