Description

We are currently seeking an experienced, creative and personable Program Manager to join our team in San Jose, CA.

As a Program Manager, you’ll need to have expertise and a strong background in program and/or project management. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and orchestration of high visibility, mission critical projects. You will organize and coordinate programs to provide strategic guidance to teams and project managers to promote the organization's roadmap.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will have an amazing ability to rally and lead key strategic programs and initiatives from concept through implementation and close-out. They are able to develop efficient strategies and tactics to oversee the governance of operations, policies and standards. They will also be hands-on in following up with the stakeholders to ensure we gain agreement on policies.

Responsibilities:  

  • Communicate strategically and collaborate with stakeholders to manage a key project, which may include but not limited to: taking and distributing biweekly meeting notes, following up on action items, tracking and organizing multiple projects via spreadsheets and other tools.
  • Eliminate complexity by simplifying processes to support new business models.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure that milestones are completed on time and in compliance with policies and standards.
  • Define and promote thought leadership for the organization in alignment with the company’s overall vision and strategy.
  • Promote and drive cross functional and regional engagement
  • Manage through ambiguity in working with both strategic and tactical aspects of the role, influence others and work effectively with all levels of the organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Program Manager or other managerial position
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
  • Excellent Knowledge of change management principles
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Working knowledge of program/project management software (Basecamp, MS Project etc.) is a strong advantage
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving ability

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS/BA diploma in management or a relevant field; MBA is a plus
  • Big Four consulting experience strongly preferred
