Description

We are looking for a Content Developer – Product Marketing with creative, self-starting drive, someone with an eye for developing pitch-perfect mid-market and enterprise marketing campaign materials and intellectual properties across a range of business topics and technologies.

At Bridge Partners, the Content Developer – Product Marketing will combine social fluency with a proven understanding of how to drive conversation and engagement across multiple channels and to craft content and copy for an array of audiences. You will work directly with clients and partners in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to build and lead multiple content-development projects.

 

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Partner with Bridge Partners customers to develop core product and solution messaging, content, and related marketing materials across to-customer, to-partner, and through-partner assets (e.g., OEM, DiSTI, Breadth).
  • Conceptualize, write, and edit engaging marketing and sales copy for a variety of integrated-marketing campaigns and deliverables, including white papers, technical documents, e-books, blog and forum content, video scripting, event materials, partner marketing materials, and more.
  • Collaborate with senior team members and cross-functional client stakeholders within marketing, web, and video teams to build consistent messaging across each delivery vehicle.
  • Track multiple projects through completion, including driving content reviews of product management with subject matter experts. 
  • Ensure that the content of all communications is aligned with mission, brand, and thought-leader position, is consistent in style and voice, and is optimized for both search and user experience.

 

Required skills, knowledge, and abilities:

  • Excellent short- and long-form writing skills in a variety of voices and tones and the ability to grasp specific brand tone, manner, and editorial style guidelines and to write and maintain content accordingly.  
  • Superior conceptual and creative skills, acute attention to detail, flexibility, and an inquisitive nature.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels of an organization. 
  • Ability to oversee and manage multiple projects and to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to develop multiple solutions for a single assignment in a short time frame and to effectively prioritize projects of varying natures. 
  • Avid interest in technology
  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. 
  • Excellent ability to sell by means of written communications. 
  • Excellent understanding of how developing web techniques are changing the way content is presented and delivered.
  • Fluency in web analytics tools like Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics and in social media applications. 

 

Education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, marketing, or advertising. 
  • 5+ years of experience in writing for business customers.
  • Experience in writing for a variety of audiences, such as C-level, tech, BDM, ITDM, and/or SMB. 
  • A portfolio of writing samples that showcase creative strategy and storytelling.
