The Product and Solution Marketing Sr. Manager is deeply familiar with all aspects of modern marketing programs and tactics and is suited to taking a leadership role in client engagements ranging from go-to-market campaigns, to product launches, to partner engagement programs.

Our ideal candidate should be as comfortable writing and creating marketing content as strategically determining how that content fits into an overall objective.

The Sr Product and Solution Marketing Manager must be comfortable internalizing customer needs, competition, and possess product expertise to successfully create, drive, and achieve business and marketing objectives.

Working closely with our client and Bridge Partners collaborators, the position requires "getting out of the box," combining tactical execution, strategic orchestration, creativity, adaptability, and client relations expertise. Some travel to client sites may be required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute product/solution strategy, programs, and activities include new releases and product lifecycle activities including product content, positioning, messaging, core benefits, competitive differentiators, and business value to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop deep product / solution knowledge to help evangelize the key go-to-market benefits to internal and external stakeholders. Act as the voice of the customer within the organization to provide knowledge and relevance for all product/solution activities
  • Engage with business owner, multiple functional areas, and stakeholders to identify and document key project goals, scenarios, focus areas, and work streams
  • Effectively communicate program status to business leadership and help drive the drafting, development, and dissemination of other internal critical communications
  • Must be able to translate technical features and roadmap (interfacing with engineering orgs) to customer facing benefits
  • Drive development of customer evidence and other advocacy efforts to best position product/solution in marketplace
  • Coordinate across Marketing, Engineering, and Sales organizations, and client leadership as necessary to deliver business results
  • Drive and manage successful delivery of work streams and deliverables. Hold work stream owners accountable to launch plan of record. Foster relationships to build a spirit of collaboration and success

 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • A demonstrated comfort level working with and alongside various professional collaborators (i.e. marketing professionals, engineers, sales leaders, executives, etc.)
  • Adaptability: able to comfortably, confidently, and seamlessly work with anyone, from Fortune 50 C-level executives to seasonal interns
  • Agility: demonstrated experience in startup environments or situations, requiring quick action, problem solving, and personal initiative
  • Strong understanding of Mid-market- or Enterprise-grade technology, both hardware and software
  • Excellent strategic and tactical program and project management skills with ability to set objectives and break work streams down into easily organized, consumable activities
  • Strong business acumen with ability to provide consultative and diplomatic guidance and support to others to elevate the quality of individual work stream plans
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience transforming resources into stories and experiences

 

Education and Experience

  • 10 years Product Marketing experience
  • 5-7 years complex program management experience with strong understanding for how program management helps achieve strategic marketing objectives
  • Demonstrated experience, knowledge and understanding of modern strategic marketing
  • B.S. or MBA in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field is preferred
