Your role as the Engagement Manager

You’ll be responsible for providing consulting expertise, leading project delivery teams, and supporting the account team and objectives through delivery excellence, client relationship development, and project/portfolio health. You will bring and apply your subject-matter expertise in one or more of our core solution areas to address our clients’ key business challenges, functioning in close collaboration across multiple teams and functional areas of Bridge Partners. Your primary focus areas include personal and team project delivery, oversight, and management of project quality building & managing long-term client partnerships and optimizing portfolio health through consultant selection, retention, and a strong understanding of internal project metrics and measures. You will promote account growth through strong customer advocacy, demonstrated value, and differentiated consulting services, while also maintaining close alignment with Bridge Partners’ business goals and objectives.

This position is remote and can be located in most US states except for Hawaii. Some key meetings as well as occasional team mixers and other fun events will be based on Pacific Time Zone (PST).

How you’ll contribute as the Engagement Manager

          Play a strategic, personal delivery role on key projects and continually build your position as a trusted advisor and experienced guide

          Project management including meeting deadlines and milestones, adhering to project timelines &

deliverables, and ensuring costs are managed to budget

          Develop and maintain strong positive relationships with key client stakeholders to ensure effective communication channels and client satisfaction

          Identify and implement new ideas and techniques to improve consultant engagement and productivity, increase team efficiency, and mitigate project risk

          Conduct regular project checkpoints with project teams, report on KPIs, project status, and other relevant business metrics, and bring issues and risks to the account team

          Provide regular leadership and coaching to consultants to ensure quality delivery; participate in the annual consultant review process and foster their professional growth

          Support pre-sales activities, assist in the creation and delivery of proposals, and gather competitive business intelligence

          Partner closely with our resourcing and recruiting teams to identify & onboard the right consultants based on client business needs and project scope

          Create and maintain client contact and project records in Salesforce; ensure project resource allocations are accurate and timely each week

          Develop and continually evolve your knowledge of Bridge Partners’ solution areas through on-the-job learning opportunities and collaboration with others

  • Stay apprised of consulting industry innovations and developments, competitive landscape

Your skills and approach as the Engagement Manager

          8+ years of relevant professional experience, including 5+ years of management consulting/ professional services experience within similar verticals and solutions

          Solid understanding of consulting as a business; demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into solutions

          Excellent project and program management skills; strong people management skills

          Demonstrated history of solving complex business problems, supporting transformational initiatives, and advising internal and external senior leadership

          Strong capability to lead people; organize, develop, and motivate a team; achieve results through others

          Efficiency and productivity in agile and entrepreneurial environments

          Ability to attend/host occasional evening networking and consultant engagement events

          Ability to travel if needed > 25%

          Prior team leadership and people management experience

          Prior delivery to large projects, including project management, problem-solving, stakeholder management

          Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline

          Strong Microsoft office skills

          Salesforce experience a plus
