The Opportunity

The Client Director role has primary responsibility for prospecting, business development, and ongoing management of a consulting footprint across one or more clients.  This key role supports individual and firm revenue targets, creating enterprise value by delivering a set of differentiated offers and cross-functional solutions to target accounts.  The Client Director will bring subject-matter expertise in one or more of our Practice disciplines or GTM Solutions, thereby addressing our customers’ key business challenges.

The Client Director has 3 primary responsibilities, in order of importance:

  • Business development: prospect, identify, qualify, scope, close, & staff new business
  • Manageonboard consultants, oversee the quality delivery ofprojects, manage client relationships, build trust & rapport
  • DeliverBridge Partners brand realization through personal delivery of services in core Practice area, thereby providing excellent business value to our clients 

Core Responsibilities

  • Development and ongoing management of business plan, inclusive oftarget accounts, target relationships, and target solutions.
  • Lead account business review and forecasting, planning and staffingmeetings as appropriate
  • Conduct pre-sales activities, develop new client and partner relationships, qualify opportunities, create and deliver proposals, and successfully close new business
  • Maintain aopportunity funnel to meet both revenue and contribution margin targets
  • Partner with our Talent teams to identify & onboard the best fitconsultant(s)  
  • Review project status and delivery milestones with clients & consultantson a regular basis; coach & support consultants on projects as needed to ensure quality delivery & business value is realized
  • Identify, define, develop and implement techniques to improveconsultant & client engagement productivity, increase efficiency, mitigate risk and resolve issues for clients
  • Develop deep understanding of client business needs & successfully position firm/self as trusted advisor
  • Participate in a strategic delivery management role on key projects in line with personal subject-matter expertise across one or more Practice or GTM solution areas 

 Required knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Prior business development / sales experience, preferably in consulting, with a demonstrated track record of opportunity identification, closing, and delivering a minimum of $2m annually
  • Understands consulting as a business; demonstrated competency andability to translate customer business requirements into solutions
  • Strong network of current business relationshipsbroad awareness ofmodern industry dynamics, business drivers, and functional best practices
  • Subject matter expertise in one or more of Bridge Partners Practices or GTM Solution areas
  • Focused client service orientation; demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders to earn “trusted advisor” status
  • Superior strategy, analysis, problem-solving, negotiation, project-management and decision-making skills
  • Significant experience defining & scoping complex client programs orsolutions, & leading delivery teams
  • Ability to establish credibility quickly and achieve goals directly and through influencing others
  • Effective at collaborating with others to define strategies, identify, pursue, staff, and close deals
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with colleagues and clients at all levels 
  • Efficiency and productivity in agile and entrepreneurial environments
  • Commitment to company values and business objectives

 Education & Experience

  • 15+ years relevant professional experience, including 10+ years professional services experience across multiple clients and industries
  • Proven track record of excellent client service and delivery of enterprise solutions and large projects, including executive stakeholder management 
  • Consistent history of solving complex business problems, landingtransformational initiatives, and advising executive leadership
  • Relevant B.A. or B.S. degree
