Position Summary:
BRG is seeking a Recruiting Director to lead its full life-cycle recruiting strategy and efforts.  This role will manage creating and driving successful and efficient recruitment strategies, ensuring superior client and candidate experiences, and collaborating with the teams to refine and improve hire processes. Additionally, this role will be responsible for increasing and improving the recruitment efforts of a diverse population across the firm. The Recruiting Director will manage all consulting staff, corporate, and campus recruiting efforts and will report to the Vice President of Human Resources.  This is a hybrid (in-office and remote) position based in Washington, DC.
 
Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Lead the recruitment teams responsible for identifying highly qualified and skilled candidates.
  • Manage and upgrade recruitment processes and systems to ensure efficiency, compliance, and results.
  • Collaborate with various business stakeholders to identify early talent needs and develop recruitment strategies to meet the organization’s hiring goals.
  • Proactively contribute to BRG’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives and activities. Collaborate with the Manager of DEI to establish relationships with strategic partners and diversity organizations that will develop a more diverse talent pool.
  • Develop and maintain metrics to measure the activities and effectiveness of current recruitment activities and use this information to drive process and performance improvements.
  • Maintain compliance with and be a champion for EEO/OFCCP laws related to the recruitment process when developing recruitment strategies and overseeing the recruiting team.
  • Leverage knowledge of the campus recruiting landscape and historical recruiting data to identify the appropriate mix of targeted campus sourcing efforts and posting strategies to attract a high quality, diverse applicant pool to campus roles.
  • Lead implementation of new Application Tracking System, Workday.
  • Initiate and lead team-wide special projects and initiatives related to recruitment.
  • Manage recruiting budget and all vendor relationships.
  • Provide the recruiting team leadership by developing team members, establishing objectives, and overseeing work efforts to accomplish identified business goals/objectives and to support the employees’ career success/development. 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of recruitment experience with a minimum of 5 years managing a recruiting team.  Proven experience of managing the recruitment function from end to end in a professional environment
  • Advanced knowledge of the campus recruiting landscape and experience developing target school strategies, virtual sourcing and event strategies, and innovative approaches to attracting early talent to opportunities.
  • Prior experience at a management consulting or other professional services firm is highly preferred.
  • International recruiting experience desired.
  • Proven ability to analyze recruiting data and trends to understand the business landscape and build recruitment strategies and solutions.
  • Applied knowledge of employment laws, OFCCP, and EEO regulations, standard HR practices and procedures.
  • Previous experience with Workday, Jobvite, or other similar Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Effective planning and priority setting experience. Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, teambuilding, and management skills.
  • Proven competency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook (or similar email application).

Candidate must be based in the Washington, DC area and able to work in-office a minimum of two days per week with the flexibility to occasionally come in additional days as needed for meetings, events, etc.

Candidate must be able to submit verification of their legal right to work in the U.S., without company sponsorship.
