BRG’s Global Construction is currently seeking a consultant for our construction practice that will work collaboratively as part of a team and support several experts on various projects. The qualified person will provide support in both claims and dispute resolution such as the following:
 
Construction Claims and Disputes Services
  • Delay and Disruption Analysis
  • Construction Labor Productivity Analysis
  • Claim/Change Order Preparation/Analysis
  • Construction Defect Analysis
  • Standard of Care
  • Expert Witness Testimony
  • Discovery Services
 Qualifications:  
  • A bachelor's degree with a focus in engineering or construction management; MS or MBA is highly preferred;
  • Minimum ten (10+) years field experience in the construction industry; Prefer those with cost estimating, change order pricing, prepared time requests, and/or experience in managing claims;
  • Developed, prepared, maintained, updated, reviewed, and analyzed schedules (P6, MSP, and any other scheduling platforms);
  • Must have excellent technical writing skills;
  • Experience working collaboratively with and leading teams; and/or
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, and travel for client work when needed;
Job Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate creativity and learn to efficiently use relevant software tools, analytical methods, and computer models to develop solutions. Gain experience developing and maintaining electronic databases, spreadsheets and other files as dictated by project needs. 
  • Perform detailed research and analysis, then put the results into action (e.g., gather, review, and summarize literature and data from the public domain, specialized industry resources, or client, public and commercial databases). 
  • Audit own work product and work product of others to assure quality.
  • Organize case documents; create and maintain hard copy and electronic libraries for documents and retrieve documents from libraries as necessary. 
  • Perform detailed schedule analysis to determine the source, magnitude, and cause of critical path delays as well as non-critical impacts on construction projects.
  • Participate in a positive team environment and work hard to meet client deadlines and quality expectations.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
BRG’s Global Construction practice combines diverse, cross-disciplinary industry experience and technical expertise to arrive at the strategic insights, authoritative reports, and objective testimony that our clients count on. We offer professional construction consulting experience and competence in fact finding, data analytics, claims/dispute analysis and management, and litigation support; along with technical expertise in engineering, architecture, construction management, public contracting, specifications and technical document development, schedule development and analysis, cost analysis, negotiations, and expert witness testimony.
 
Salary Range: $70,000 - $150,000
