HAP Tech, a subgroup of BRG’s Healthcare Analytics practice (HAP), is one of the firm’s largest and fastest growing teams. HAP Tech supports and advises pharmaceutical manufacturers on how to navigate the challenges and complexities of the 340B program as well as other areas of the healthcare ecosystem. Our team is the established market leader in data and technology solutions for 340B-related issues and we support an impressive client base which includes the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in the US as well as early-stage biotech companies. Beyond our syndicated solutions, we also integrate and synthesize data to deliver unparalleled analytics and insights into various aspects of the 340B program and the pharmaceutical supply chain.
 
The Strategic Account Manager will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team to manage our key account portfolios.  The Strategic Account Manager will be responsible for managing and nurturing client relationships to drive satisfaction, retention, and growth. They will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, understanding their needs, and fostering interest in HAP Tech’s innovative solutions. They will execute strategic account growth plans with input from Executive Leadership.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, serving as their trusted advisor and advocate within the company.
  • Account Growth: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products or services to existing clients to maximize account value.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Monitor client satisfaction and proactively address any issues or concerns to ensure a positive experience and maintain high levels of customer retention.
  • Account Planning: Develop and execute account plans tailored to each client's needs and objectives, including regular check-ins and reviews.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure client needs are met and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Market Insights: Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to provide valuable insights and contribute to product development and marketing strategies.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on account status, including sales forecasts, activity updates, and customer feedback, to management and relevant stakeholders.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required; BS degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of six years’ experience as a Strategic Account Manager in the healthcare software industry.  
  • Experience working with Top 20 global pharma companies at the senior executive level.
  • Leadership skills in change management to help large organizations adopt new technology.
  • Ability to navigate organizations at the strategic level to develop strong business value-based relationships.
  • Extensive experience with analyzing data and presenting compelling conclusions to customers.
  • Experience developing account plans and utilizing them to drive measured success.
  • Aptitude to develop insights and recommendations to business problems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, written communication and presentation skills
