Data Analyst
Description
- Support the maintenance of financial data processing (SQL) and create reports (SQL Server Reporting Services, Power BI)
- Work on initiatives to improve current and future processes
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to design business intelligence reports, metrics, visualizations, and dashboards
- Analyze existing business systems and identify ways to automate by leveraging technology to address inefficiencies.
- Learn various business processes and cross-functional workflows to define system requirements, write specifications to solve problems, and execute on solutions
- Create technical documentation
- Continuously look for ways to improve, automate, and scale current processes
- 0-2 years of research or work experience solving technical/analytical problems
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance/Accounting, or similar quantitative field
- Demonstrated technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with commitment to accuracy
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Advanced computer skills including proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookup, macros, etc.), Microsoft Access, VBA, XML, Word, PowerPoint
- Willingness to learn with initiative to partner collaboratively across the organization
- Familiarity with scripting or programming languages
- Experience with SQL and/or relational databases
- Experience working with formulas, pivot tables, data connections, and visual basic macros in Excel
