Position Summary:
The Workplace Technology, Sustainability, and Wellness Manager will be a hands-on member of the Workplace team who should have solid organization skills and the ability to balance day-to-day tasks with longer-term project responsibilities. The individual will work closely with the Workplace Portfolio Team (real estate) and Regional Workplace Directors (office operations) to implement, operate, and upkeep office technology, policies, and procedures aimed at improving functionality, comfort & employee wellness, environmental performance and overall performance of office operations globally.
 
This position will oversee our global portfolio of 45+ offices and will be expected to adapt solutions for different jurisdictions, settings, and requirements.  The role will require a certain amount of travel that can be domestic and international.  The position is remote but we will give priority to candidates who will be able to work in a hybrid capacity.
 
Responsibilities:  
Sustainability:
  • Manage GHG measurements yearly
  • Help with identification and implementation of GHG reduction initiatives
  • Help with reduction of waste generation, water usage, energy consumption, etc.
  • Work with stakeholders on new initiatives, sensibilization, and overall improvements.
Wellness:
  • Help BRG design wellness programs while employees are using a BRG workplace.
  • Implement wellness measures in the Workplace Operations and in the design of new BRG Workplaces.
  • Measure and qualify program popularity and effectiveness.
Physical Workplace Security:
  • Manage the ongoing maintenance, support, licensing, and training for access control and video systems.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for oversight of these systems at all sites both internally and with vendors.
  • Develop and maintain standards and standard operating procedures (SOP) for physical security training and adoption within the Workplace Services (WPS) team.
  • Coordinate with the Workplace Portfolio team to identify modernization and standardization opportunities.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of Emergency Procedures.
Video Conferencing:
  • Develop and implement internal SOP for video conferencing systems.
  • Lead training initiatives and drive adoption of advanced video conferencing tools.
  • Ensure training materials and workplace signage are kept up to date with changes.
  • Coordinate issue resolution with the WPS local team, Logi Select, and third-party partners.
  • Conduct beta testing of new products and firmware versions to ensure compliance and maintain high-quality.
  • Design the next generation of virtual presence tools and roll out test systems in key geographies.
Workplace Solutions:
  • Evaluate software solutions that could enhance ongoing operations, such as visitor management systems, digital signage, kiosks, and QR codes.
  • Develop training materials and SOP for the implementation of new systems in these areas.
Booking, Monitoring, and Digital Signage Systems:
  • Function as the primary contact for the continuous improvement of office space booking functionality.
  • Collaborate across the WPS, Workplace Portfolio, and IT teams to implement enhanced integrations of systems.
Qualifications:
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience. 
Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience managing workplace systems and technologies, particularly in the areas of physical security, attendance monitoring, and video conferencing/virtual presence. 
  • Experience in the Wellness and Sustainability space as it relates to Workplace design and operation. 
  • Experience measuring GHG footprint a plus.
Skills:
  • Familiar with video conferencing technologies and software, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Comfortable with technology, both learning new applications and being a resource in support of others.
  • Willingness and ability to troubleshoot and develop solutions independently.
  • Knowledge and experience in managing physical security systems, including access control and CCTV is a plus.
  • Familiarity with evaluating and implementing software solutions for visitor management, digital signage, and QR codes.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and stay up to date with industry trends.
  • Experience in developing and implementing training programs and SOPs.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills to work effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Meticulous with a focus on continuous improvement and the ability to identify opportunities for enhancing system functionalities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proactive and creative problem solver that can think outside the box, work independently, and seek guidance when appropriate.
  • Demonstrate strong time management, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and preserve confidentiality.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances and energetically embraces new responsibilities.
  • Willing to work overtime occasionally, as needed.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally when needed, could average 25% or more.
  • Ability to work at a BRG site some of the time.

Salary: $80k-$120k

Candidate must be able to submit verification of their legal right to work in the U.S., without company sponsorship.
