HAP Tech, a subgroup of BRG’s Healthcare Analytics practice (HAP), is one of the firm’s largest and fastest growing teams. This innovative group is currently looking for talented and dynamic professionals to join us as we continue to grow! HAP Tech supports and advises pharmaceutical manufacturers on how to navigate the challenges and complexities of the 340B program as well as other areas of the healthcare ecosystem. Our team is the established market leader in data and technology solutions for 340B-related issues and we support an impressive client base which includes the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in the US as well as early-stage biotech companies. Beyond our syndicated solutions, we also integrate and synthesize data to deliver unparalleled analytics and insights into various aspects of the 340B program and the pharmaceutical supply chain. 

The Managing Consultant position is a mid-to-senior level consulting staff position. This  position requires highly motivated problem solvers with solid analytical abilities, strong organizational skills, and a desire to advance within the organization. Additionally, we are looking for individuals who can be agile, think outside the box and lead with an entrepreneurial spirit. Job title and compensation to be determined based on qualifications and experience.   

Responsibilities 

  • Demonstrate creativity and efficient use of relevant software tools, analytical methods and computer models to develop solutions.
  • Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium sized client engagements and discrete segments of larger projects.
  • Delegate assignments to staff, instruct and monitor progress, and review work product for completeness and accuracy.
  • Develop analyses and financial models using transactional data and/or financial data.
  • Manage client relationships and communicate results and work product as appropriate.
  • Prioritize assignments and responsibilities to meet goals and deadlines.
  • Participate in product planning and development initiatives.
  • Contribute and participate in staffing and account strategy discussions.
  • Help manage parts of the project and/or product lifecycle across client implementations and/or practice initiatives.
  • This position is based in BRG’s Washington, DC office or New York, NY office.

Basic Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and an undergraduate level understanding of business, finance, accounting, statistics, product development or data analysis;
  • Minimum of 6 years of work experience with a focus in data analytics, project/product management or business operations;
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python and/or R is required for this role; Proficiency in other programming languages (e.g., SAS, SPSS, Stata, etc.) is a plus;
  • Strong technical and programming skills, including the ability to independently execute complex data analytics in at least one programming language. An interest in growing these skills and training others is required;
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills; and
  • Desire to work in a team environment and supervise team members.

Managing Consultant Salary Range: $100,000 – $230,000 per year
