Description
- Document, data analysis, and report support.
- Quality control review to include editing, sourcing footnotes and checking references.
- Review and organization of case documents
- Assistance in preparation of receipts and disbursements databases, comparative financial analyses, and other financial schedules in bankruptcy and litigation matters.
- Research case related information to help support primarily bankruptcy related matters.
- Data analysis and comparison to search for trends or anomalies.
- General support to ensure client reports are accurate and of the highest quality.
- Fee applications support
- Bachelors degree in Business and/or Accounting.
- 0-2 years of experience in a professional services environment (preferably consulting or legal); background as a paralegal, researcher or in accounting highly desired;
- Advanced software skills required in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook as well as Adobe Acrobat. Word skills should include foot-noting, table of contents, draft management, etc. Excel skills should include ability to do pivot tables and v-lookup;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including editing and quality control document review experience;
- Ability to work independently and identify and recommend approaches to solve problems proactively;
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities in a rapidly changing environment;
- Proven time management, organizational skills and attention to detail required;
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and with time constraints; and
- Flexibility and willingness to occasionally work overtime as needed.
