We are looking for a Senior ServiceNow Developer to work closely with the architect, functional lead and the stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable configurations and integrations that directly improve CMDB, SAM, and HAM functionality, while supporting upgrades and compliance with FEMA’s governance standards
Job Function:
- Configure and maintain workflows and modules - Implement CMDB, SAM, and HAM enhancements - Build custom applications, dashboards, and reporting
- Lead integrations with Flexera, procurement, and financial systems
- Support upgrades, testing, and documentation
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on development experience with ServiceNow, including core platform and one or more advanced modules (e.g., HAM/SAM, CMDB).
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification required.
- At least 1 ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) is required.
- Proficient in scripting and development such as JavaScript.
- Experience with Integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Servers, and third-party systems.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and practical implementation within ServiceNow.
Skills and Experience:
- ITAM (HAM/SAM) governance
- Proven experience in CMDB
- ServiceNow platform best practices and governance
Requirements
- US Citizen
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development
- ITIL Certification
- Exposure to architectural frameworks
- Knowledge of Section 508 compliance
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
