We are looking for a ServiceNow Functional Lead to help leverage ServiceNow to its fullest extent. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the primary contact for clients regarding all ServiceNow-related matters.
  • Translate intricate business requirements into technical designs and solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Lead ServiceNow projects, including guiding development teams and managing interactions with product owners and end users.
  • Maintain consistent engagement with management and executive-level clients through all project phases, including working-level meetings and executive briefings to present progress iteratively for review and feedback.
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams to develop, configure, and enhance ServiceNow applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with ServiceNow products, features, and industry trends to foster innovation.
  • Perform technical assessments and offer recommendations to improve existing ServiceNow implementations.
  • Review functionality developed by the ServiceNow team, provide feedback, conduct testing, and facilitate training.
  • Develop comprehensive technical and functional documentation for ServiceNow solutions.
  • Ensure the security, scalability, and maintainability of ServiceNow implementations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in ServiceNow, supported by relevant certifications (e.g., CSA, CIS, CAD).
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Availability to commute to client or corporate offices in the Washington, DC metropolitan area 2-3 days per week, unless working remotely.
  • Certifications in Agile, SCRUM, or SAFe.
  • Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow Modules and capabilities such as GRC, SPM, ITSM, as well as App Engine and Scoped Apps.
  • Comprehensive technology consulting experience, including defining requirements, leading client meetings, facilitating UAT, and conducting training sessions.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain rapport with individuals at all levels.
  • Ability to self-direct, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and demands.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
