We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow SPM Developer to join our team supporting federal government clients. This role is ideal for seasoned professionals with deep expertise in the ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) suite, a strong technical background, and a passion for delivering impactful, mission-driven solutions. You’ll play a key role in designing and developing tailored solutions that align with strategic goals, optimize performance, and drive value for our clients.

Function

  • Work independently on assigned tasks for the end-to-end ServiceNow SPM implementation for the client.
  • Design and develop solutions within the ServiceNow platform, primarily focused on SPM modules.
  • Conduct workshops with clients to articulate the value of SPM solutions and solicit feedback on the proposed / developed solutions.
  • Provide expert-level support and technical mentoring to stakeholders
  • Manage platform and infrastructure to ensure smooth operation of Project and Portfolio Management processes, with a strong focus in Demand Management, Project Management, Resource Management, Agile Development.
  • Collaborate with functional teams and lead technical solution design sessions for the designated work area(s).
  • Contribute to process improvement and documentation
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, bug fixes, and root cause analysis 

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of IT software consulting experience, with 3-5 years specifically in ServiceNow implementations
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting
  • In-depth knowledge of Project and Portfolio Management and Strategic Portfolio Management concepts and best practices
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience in implementing ServiceNow SPM for enterprise clients

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (additional work experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
  • Certified Implementation Specialist – Strategic Portfolio Management (CIS-SPM)
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
  • Active Public Trust clearance preferred
