Material Handler - Team Lead              

 

Regular Full Time Position:  8:00AM-4:30PM MST

Location:  West Bountiful, Utah

 

             

Job Description:

The responsibilities of the Team Leader are to assist in meeting daily targets as outlined by supervisor/process track owner.  Coordinating the day-to-day operations through assigning, monitoring and reviewing accuracy of work and providing technical guidance.  Some time may be spent performing many of the same duties of the team members.

 

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Ability to learn several computer operating systems - word, excel, power point etc.
  • Understand the Epicor system and be able to learn multiple aspects of the system
    • Order entry
    • Cycle counting
    • Order processing
  • Troubleshooting order errors
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Support and further work to build a “safety first” culture
  • Adheres to established cycle times
  • Plan out and have vision of daily production targets
  • Keep area visual controls up to date (tracking data)
  • Responsible to train team members using to SOP’s and Job Instruction Sheets
  • Inform supervisor/ process track owner of policy violations (safety, uniform, behavior, etc.)
  • Ensure team members have the correct tools in good working condition

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of Material Handling experience required
  • Ability to read blueprints, required
  • Knowledge of processes required
  • Knowledge of diagnostic equipment preferred
