Human Resources Assistant


This position is located in Winamac, Indiana.

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Human Resources Assistant helps with the administration of the day-to-day operations of BraunAbility’s HR team, with a key focus on customer service, coordination of programs, and reporting.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports human resources processes by handling various administrative duties and maintaining records and information.
  • Administers recognition and reward programs, and plans/coordinates employee events.
  • Schedules employee testing, including ongoing drug testing, biometric screenings and other activities as assigned.
  • Takes responsibility for ongoing and ad hoc employee data reports, which requires creating reports within the HRIS and other systems, and then assembling, preparing, and analyzing the data.  Creates graphs and charts.
  • Assists in maintaining employee data by entering and updating employment information into online systems.
  • Provides administrative support by entering, formatting, and printing information.
  • Answers the telephone, relays messages, and maintains equipment and supplies.
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects data by keeping human resource information confidential.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of prior experience in an administrative capacity required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, vlookup, creation of charts/graphs needed.

 

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and protect data.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Strong organizational capabilities.
