Senior Content Designer

We are growing our product design team and are looking for someone to join us on our quest to build amazing SaaS products which push the boundaries of convention, have flair, originality, and make our customers sing out loud with delight.

About the team you’ll be joining
Our product team is split across the UK and the US. We have a wide range of skills from pure user research through to pure visual design, and a number of people with a blend in between. You’ll report to our VP of User Experience and help her build the function of Content Design.
About the role
We’re looking for an accomplished Product Content Designer or Product Content Strategist with experience in B2B SaaS products and a strong focus in UX. You specialize in hierarchy and navigation; from conceiving flows to pairing the right design components with the right language. This isn’t a marketing or social media role.
You will help establish the Content Design team to join our very well established UX Research team. You will also define our Content strategy, outlining the planning, development, and management of both written and visual content.
As part of your role you will conduct a thorough content audit across all products of our newly combined business unit. You will also gather key business and user insights and apply your strategic planning skills to create original content. Brandwatch Consumer Research is a complex product with a unique audience. You should be able to write for the user and consider our audience's levels of expertise.
You'll build and expand on our existing Brandwatch tone of voice and style guide. You’ll prove the value and benefits of content design.
Also, you'll connect with content practitioners across Brandwatch to develop and align the brand voice. And you’ll empower the design and research team to write their own content.
Required skills and experience
- A foundational understanding of user-centered design techniques and how to apply them.
- Demonstrated ability to create, implement, and maintain content standards across an organization.
- Experience conducting UX research, benchmarking and measuring the success of the content you deliver.
- Background in collaborating with designers to make the best user experience.
- An understanding of data and analytics to help support your content decisions.
- Able to develop, and advocate for, the Brandwatch style guide and tone of voice.
- Experience with stakeholder management and the ability to work with different departments.
- Track record proving the value of content design and its benefits.
As a bonus
- You have experience with Figma for cross collaboration with Design and Engineering
- You are bilingual combining English with Spanish, German or French.
