Lead Full-Stack Platform Engineer
Description
We’re looking for a Lead Full-Stack Platform Engineer with over 10 years of hands-on experience in architecting and building end-to-end video streaming platforms. The ideal candidate is a strong technical leader who can design, develop, and scale complex systems across the full stack, while ensuring automation, performance, and reliability in a cloud-native environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and lead frontend and full-stack development for a high-performance, cloud-hosted video streaming platform.
- Design and implement scalable solutions using ReactJS, Advanced JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, Python, and PHP.
- Build and optimize streaming workflows — HLS, DASH, WebRTC (low latency), adaptive bitrate, and CDN integrations.
- Implement test automation frameworks for unit, integration, and end-to-end validation to maintain platform quality.
- Drive CI/CD pipeline automation, ensuring smooth build, test, and deployment processes.
- Manage Dockerized and serverless deployments across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Ensure high availability, performance tuning, caching, observability, and scalability of core systems.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams, conduct design/code reviews, and enforce best practices.
Required Skills
- Minimum 10 years of full-stack engineering experience, with a focus on large-scale or media-based platforms.
- Proven experience in video streaming architecture and real-time media workflows.
- Deep expertise in ReactJS, Advanced JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, Python, and PHP.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, test automation, DevOps, and cloud-native environments.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP, and serverless components.
- Strong debugging, optimization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership in mentoring teams and delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Next.js, micro-frontends, or Java-based backends.
- Exposure to OTT, live streaming, and real-time media delivery.
- Familiarity with AR/VR and 3D interactive experiences.
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK), and observability tools.
