Business Development Manager (remote UK)
This is a remote position and is open to applicants across the UK. There is a possibility of meet-ups at our London office and some client visits in the future.

To further accelerate this growth in the EMEA region, Brafton are looking for a highly motivated, fast-learning, experienced and adaptable sales and marketing professional to join our team.
Our Sales & Account Management Directors are target-carrying, solution-driven salespeople who work with our internal teams to manage the new business sales & renewal cycles of our clients. New business accounts are managed from first meeting, to strategic proposal development, to close of sale - while existing account opportunities are continually pitched and closed in partnership with our Content Marketing Strategists. Candidates must have a strong knowledge and understanding of digital marketing. Additionally, ideal candidates have client management and renewal experience, new business experience, and operational marketing skills at the mid-market to enterprise level.
You have a natural ability to take a consultative and solution based approach to selling, whilst also being able to demonstrate and sell return on investment. You are an authoritative and impactful presenter who can win over the most skeptical of audiences, and have the charisma to build rapport across all levels of influencers and decision makers within mid-large organisations. We are looking for a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, in a recurring revenue environment and fast-paced industry. The person in this role needs to have a strategic and tactical mind with a keen eye for detail and be able to work autonomously on their own pipeline, whilst collaborating on the pipeline of the account management team.
- Full cycle revenue generation
- Generating demand for our products and services through high value prospecting and account based marketing strategies
- Running inbound territory meetings
- As required, running out-of-territory inbound meetings
- Completing detailed needs analysis and discovery
- Executing sophisticated digital and competitive research through leading analytics tools
- Developing sophisticated proposals
- Accurate pipeline forecasting
- Supporting Content Marketing Strategists’ pipelines and actions
- Creating contracts, MSAs, and addendums
- Leading in-persons -- remote for now, with frequent client travel in the future
- Highly accurate Salesforce administration
Key Success Factors:
You will have a strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape; You will require experience in the ability to formulate cross-channel strategies that align with your clients and prospects marketing and business goals. You’ll have the ability to use analysis & ROI storytelling through analytical tools and pre-defined processes. Your clients will view you as a credible, confident and authoritative source of knowledge across the digital landscape and you will be able to use your commercial acumen and ability to influence decisions through data and natural sales ability.
You will be a chameleon salesperson who can switch approaches easily for different influencers, decision makers and industry verticals -- a natural challenger who also creates outstanding client rapport.
You will have excellent situational and interpersonal judgment combined with drive, enthusiasm and tenacity to maximize sales opportunities. You will be extremely perceptive and will be naturally inquisitive, with exceptional negotiation skills that allow you to positively impact you and your team’s client relationships.
