Creative Digital Marketing Sales - Remote
This is a remote position and is open to applicants in any US state. Boston-area staff have the option to work fully remotely or a hybrid using our downtown office space.

Our Director of Sales & Account Management is a quota-carrying salesperson who works with our internal teams to manage the sales & renewal cycles of our clients. New business accounts are managed from first meeting to close, while existing account opportunities are continually pitched and closed in partnership with out Content Marketing Strategists. Candidates must have digital marketing knowledge. Additionally, ideal candidates have client management and renewal experience, new business experience, and operational marketing skills.
You have a natural ability to demonstrate and sell return on investment - a powerful and impactful presenter who can win over the most skeptical of audiences, with the charisma to build rapport across all levels of influencers and decision makers. Highly effective at winning ongoing investment from clients. The person in this role is exceptionally detail oriented and organized, able to juggle multiple new and ongoing projects and relationships with ease.
- Full cycle revenue generation
- Generating demand for our products and services through high value prospecting and account based marketing strategies
- Running inbound territory meetings
- As required, running out-of-territory inbound meetings
- Completing detailed needs analysis and discovery
- Executing sophisticated digital and competitive research through leading analytics tools
- Developing sophisticated proposals
- Accurate pipeline forecasting
- Supporting Content Marketing Strategists’ pipelines and actions
- Creating contracts, MSAs, and addendums
- Leading in-persons with frequent client travel
- Highly accurate Salesforce administration
Key Success Factors:
You will have a strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape; strong experience implementing and managing digital marketing campaigns; and the ability to use analysis & ROI storytelling through the breadth of analytical tools and pre-defined processes to continually plan campaigns which tie to clients’ business goals. You will be highly credible, confident and authoritative across all audiences with strong analytical prowess, commercial acumen and the ability to influence decisions through data.
You will be a chameleon salesperson who can switch approaches easily for different influencers and decision makers - a natural challenger who also creates outstanding client rapport. You will be highly credible, confident and authoritative across all audiences with conviction, superb commercial acumen and the ability to influence and overturn decisions through solid strategies, data, and relationships.
You will have excellent situational and interpersonal judgment combined with drive, enthusiasm and tenacity to maximize sales opportunities. You will be extremely perceptive, with exceptional questioning and negotiation skills in order to positively impact your team’s client relationships.
Your clients can't wait to meet you! In normal times this position will entail 25% travel.
Our offices are in Boston but the role is remote and open to anyone based in the US Eastern Time Zone. Boston-area candidates will have the option to work fully remotely or make use of our downtown office once the local situation allows.
