Description

As a member of the Merchandise Operations team, the Operations Analyst will be responsible for operating and maintaining the allocation module, a software infrastructure in charge of matching customers with the best available kit for them, which is at the core of the company’s operations process. Additionally, this individual will work closely with the technology team to create and implement data quality metrics and standards that will serve as the foundation for business KPIs. This role will require creative problem solving and as well as focused planning and execution. As such, the ideal candidate will have excellent communications skills in addition to strong data & analytical skills.

What you'll be doing

  • Operate and maintain monthly personalization models to determine product allocations based on customers’ preferences and data integration
  • Provide insights on personalization results
  • Monitor product trends during events and provide guidance about selling patterns, the timing of future purchases, and purchasing philosophies
  • Assure the completeness and correctness of the input and output, and communicate with other departments to fix discrepancies
  • Define and implement standards and solutions to provide high-quality data that will be used as the basis for analytics across the whole company
  • Extract and manipulate data from warehouse
  • Create visualizations, reports and dashboards that will be used to convey key merchandise KPIs on a real-time basis to key business stakeholders
  • Provide ad-hoc solutions to arising merchandising issues
  • Actively assist in improving the usability, usefulness and functionality of customized systems
  • Present complex data and analyses to non-technical audiences

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Math, Statistics, Engineering or a related field
  • 3+ years working in data analytics or related responsibilities
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and strong experience working with large and complex data sets
  • Understanding of relational databases, table structures, and schemas
  • Other experience with coding platforms such as R, Python, SAS, or others is highly desired
  • Solutions-oriented thinking, looking for the smart solution to a problem
  • Well organized and able to work independently within a distributed team
  • Excellent communication, documentation and attention to detail
