Supply Chain QA Analyst

Operations Pembroke Pines, Florida


What you'll be doing:

  • Participate in quality improvement projects and help solve issues in the supply chain under the direction of the QA manager.
  • Partner and collaborate with Boxy Charm’s Brands Team and vendors to improve product offering and help mitigate risks to Boxy Charm’s Supply Chain.
  • Help protect merchandising investments by assisting QA team in reviewing/identifying products and shipments that do not meet Boxy Charm standards.
  • Perform testing of packaging solutions and subscription box layouts under the supervision of QA Manager.
  • With training and supervision, perform ISTA drop testing to identify product vulnerable to damage in transit and help develop beauty box layouts.
  • Coordinate and align with cross-functional teams, warehouse, and 3rd party logistics partners in the event of unsatisfactory vendor performance, subscription box production, non-conformances, and product issues.
  • Monitor and analyze customer feedback to identify trends impacting quality of product, vendor performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain and help create QA documents, reporting, and product information details.
  • Help to problem solve using learned quality tools and principles including quality control testing and inspection plans, Corrective Action/Preventative Action reporting, process diagrams, standard operating procedures, and root cause analysis. 

What we're looking for:

  • 1-3 years professional experience in supply chain, fulfillment operations, or business operations.
  • Fluent in Excel with the ability to analyze statistical data.
  • Experience with outgoing or incoming quality control inspections is a plus.
  • Autonomous work style yet has a strong sense of collaboration, urgency, creativity and results driven.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, flexible to pivot with competing priorities; Start-up and rapid growth experience is a plus.
  • Willing to think outside the box and challenge the status quo, while also fairly evaluating all possible solutions in making strategic decisions.
  • ASQ Certification is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Merchandising,  and/or Science related field preferred.
