Lifecycle Marketing Manager (BoxyCharm)

About the Role:

We are looking for a proven lead to create and drive engagement strategies through a member’s lifecycle from on-boarding and upgrades, as well as engaging with lapsed members. This individual should be data-driven with a proven track record of executing on segmented journeys across multiple channels including email and SMS. You and your team will embody a test and learn philosophy to drive maximum lifetime value of members. 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Create, own, and execute the member’s lifecycle engagement strategy by developing and scaling programs for segmented and broad cohorts of viewers.
  • Continuously strive to better understand customer behavior and gain actionable insights that flow into enhanced onboarding and engagement strategies and experiences.
  • Own day-to-day execution and performance of onboarding, evergreen and engagement campaigns, journeys and overall program effectiveness; make data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
  • Leverage tech stack to create personalized and relevant campaigns with robust trigger-based marketing and automations.
  • Work with the Product, Analytics and Content Marketing teams to identify new strategic journeys, campaigns and opportunities that create great content discovery experiences.
  • Manage campaign execution end-to-end: develop campaign briefs, oversee creative production, set measurement plans, secure legal requirements and approvals, flight final campaign creatives, optimize as necessary and report on performance

Experience and Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing with an e-commerce brand including email and SMS
  • 4+ years of managing a team
  • Proven track record of working at the strategic and tactical level to develop and execute innovative and effective campaigns
  • Experience working cross-functionally to ensure campaign requirements and deadlines are met, while also delivering the optimal customer experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; understanding of methodologies for testing
  • Skilled communicator with excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude and ability to operate in a very fast paced environment with ambiguity
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, or related field.
